Drove global buildouts of two data centers utilizing Kanban for a Financial Services company over a two-year period. Builds were from the ground-up and included real-estate purchase, site build-out, infrastructure build (network and power), staffing, physical security and information security. Project was completed on-time and within budget, with expected revenue per site to be $40M.
For a major entertainment corporation, implemented a new disaster recovery site utilizing AWS within a seven-month period and a $7M budget. Requirements were that the current SLA of five minutes downtime had to be continued while migrating entire corporate and customer disaster recovery sites from on-prem to AWS. This major lift required coordination with 15 business units, one internal technology team and one technology team based in Brazil. Successfully completed project on time and within budget, thereby decreasing the yearly disaster recovery spend by $6M and established a new automated control center.
Utilizing Kanban, successfully executed a data center consolidation for a multimedia company. Migrated 450 applications and sunset 42 legacy applications from two data centers and migrated to AWS in a five-month period. This resulted in a yearly capital expense savings of $6M.
Executed a successful product release for a startup Block Chain financial services client that had three failed, previous launches. Provided gap analysis, ensured technology was sound, resources were properly scoped, and a new, successful release plan was devised. Launch was successful within one week of deadline. Drove process audit with customer and legal team. All documents passed audit with minor nomenclature changes.
Hired by Florida Marketing organization to implement new governance process as there was a disconnect between business goals and IT services. After initial evaluation it was determined that the organization was a 1 regarding maturity on the CMM scale. After creating and implementing a new SDLC coupled with a revamped Change Control process we were able to move them to a 3 on the CMM scale and actively working on new KPI's so that everything is measurable. Synergies between business leaders and IT are at an all time high. Time to market has improved by 40% and quality has improved almost 50%.
